Mayhem Miller Retires
Jason “Mayhem” Miller said if he lost to C.B. Dollaway he would retire from Mixed Martial Arts. He is living up to his word. He said during an interview with Ariel Helwani he is retiring for now.
“I said I would, so I am,” said Miller. “I’m done for right now.”
The backstage incident people have heard about was also revealed by Miller during his interview. Miller was confronted by UFC Backstage Director Bill Watson about his mask he wore to the Cage. mayhem wore a paper bag with a gas mask under it.
“It was my mask, Burt suddenly started yelling about my mask. I had a gas mask for the troops underneath my paper bag, and Burt started telling me right as I’m walking out for the fight. I’m trying to get focused instead of arguing about a paper bag. Maybe it was my fault for, I don’t know, I thought we had an understanding once I start walking out to the cage that now I’m working, but obviously we’re not on a playing field of mutual respect.”
“I wish I would have heard about it before so it would be easier to deal with. But here I am walking to the cage, and suddenly I started getting yelled at. I’m like ‘what, I’m trying to focus here.’ Things don’t always go the way you want. That’s life and you have to deal with it.”
Mayhem would like to try his hand at MMA Color Commentary. He also ruled out a return to Bully Beatdown.
Anderson Silva Injured
UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva who will meet Chael Sonnen July 7th for his Title was injured during training for the fight. Silva spoke during a press conference that he would have his knee looked at to see if it was serious.
It doesn’t ppear to be serious since Silva has recently tweeted a pic of him training with a message for the fans.
Folks, my knee’s doing very well, thanks! Relax, July 7th I’ll be doing my job. Oss.
Dana White can breathe easy now. I for one am really looking forward to this fight. I’ve always been a fan of Silva but find Sonnen entertaining. Can’t wait to see them go at it July 7th.
Brock Lesnar’s Meeting With Dana White Didn’t Go Well
Former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE Superstar was in attendance at UFC 146. Dana White told reporters during the post fight press conference he would meet face to face with Lesnar and that “anything was possible.”
People were already wondering if Lesnar would return to the Octagon. Dave Melzer from The Wrestling Observer reported on the Meeting.
Brock Lesnar and Dana White met last night. We don’t have any details other than the meeting did not go well. If Lesnar being at UFC is mentioned on Raw, then I’d guess it’s WWE angle. If it’s not, then it’s anyone’s guess what the game being played is, other than there is a game being played.
If this is being used by the WWE as an angle towards an angle where Brock quit the WWE then it shows just how desperate the WWE really is. There shows have not been worth watching in a long time. I can do nothing but laugh at that moron Triple H who said MMA is boring. How’s your stale product working for you Triple H.
Not really sure why the UFC would want this bum back anyway. He proved he belongs in the Fake WWE when Alistair Overeem destroyed him.
Mayhem Miller Done With UFC
Following his embarrassing UFC 146 loss to C.B. Dollaway, Jason “Mayhem” Miller is done with the UFC. Dana White was not to happy with Mayhem’s antics during UFC 146 which included wearing a Pink Boa during weigh ins and he wore a mask during his entrance.
“I’m not into that stuff,” White said. “It’s not my thing. I guess I don’t really care if guys do it, because you see it at the weigh-ins all the time. You see stuff like that, but come on, man. Take this thing seriously. You want to be a clown? Do that on your reality show.”
When Miller was shown in his locker room before his fight he had a pink boombox while warming up. After saturday’s loss he is 0-2 in the UFC after losing to Michael Bisping in his debut where he was a coach on the Ultimate Fighter.
There was also a backstage incident which White would not go into detail about.
“Mayhem’s done. He’s gone,” White said, adding that the incident was “just some bulls–t that I don’t want to talk about. We’re on a crazy string here of dumb bulls–t.”
Mayhem has a huge fan base but from my personal opinion his fighting leaves something to be desired. He may be most well known for his brawl with Jake Shields and the Diaz Brothers in Strikeforce.
Could Brock Return To Octagon?
During Saturday’s UFC 146 Pay Per View former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was shown in attendance. That left many wondering if he was just there to check out a Frank Mir ass beating or if there was more to this story. Dana White spoke to Brock through a text message.
“He texted me and said, ‘I want to come to the fight, but keep it quiet because I don’t want to tell anybody,’” White said. “He said, ‘What are you doing tonight? … I want to talk face to face.’
“You never know with him. He might want to come back. He might just want to hang out.”
With the way the WWE has made a complete disaster of Brock’s return to pro wrestling this doesn’t surprise me at all. Recently TNA and Bellator signed King Mo and made big headlines over it. So is it possible that WWE and UFC could work together and make Brock Lesnar into a Mega Star? I think so.
Brock is a former WWE and UFC Champion. Now he looked like crap in his last few UFC fights. I will let him slide considering he nearly died from diverticulitis. Watching him take body shots from Alistair Overeem you could tell Brock was different. If he could come back healthy and fighting like he did when he was dominating Randy Couture and Frank Mir then I think his return would be great. I don’t want to see a mediocre Brock Lesnar looking for a payday though.
The Heavyweight Division is stacked like never before right now. If brock does return he needs to bring his A game if he plans to be a threat again in the UFC.

Arianny Celeste Arrested
Ultimate Fighting Championships ring girl Arianny Celeste was arrested early this morning in LasVegas and held on $3,000 bond by Clark County detention Center on allegations of Domestic Violence.
Celeste has 48 hours to post bail on she will appear before a judge. Guess it is safe to say we wont be seeing her sexy ass at UFC 146 tonight.
Be interesting to see if UFC punishes her for this. She is by far the most popular UFC ring girl. Hope she remains with UFC.
